Early years foundation stage (EYFS)
Childminders must have the appropriate skills and knowledge to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework. They must also attend a paediatric first aid training course and a child protection training course
THE EYFS framework for childminders can be found at Early years foundation stage (EYFS) statutory framework (GOV.UK)
Childminders must also be confident and competent to prepare and handle food. So it is recommended they complete a food hygiene course.
