Achievement Unlocked AP (Part of the Inspire & Achieve Foundation)

Overview

Monday - Friday

Part-time Alternative Provision run by The Inspire and Achieve Foundation for Ages 16-26 covering 15 hrs a week, with a Roll-on, Roll-off Capability

Welcome to Achievement Unlocked AP, where education meets adventure! Here at The Inspire and Achieve Foundation, every new challenge is a chance to level up your skills and gain real-world experience ready for the future. We see ourselves as ethically driven educators; empowering young people to leave the past behind them, rise to new challenges and unlock their future, whether that is in employment or further education. Why? Because every young person has something amazing in them… they just need the confidence to find it!

We believe learning should be an adventure so our project based curriculum is built around The King’s Trust Achieve Programme, which offers learners the chance to work toward anything from an Award to an Extended Diploma in Personal Development and Employability. This hands-on approach keeps learning meaningful and gives young people the chance to build transferable skills in areas like customer service, construction, social care, retail, catering, sales, entrepreneurship, marketing, budgeting, and project management — all while boosting confidence and preparing for the world of work. With ownership over their education, this programme supports young people to build confidence, promote teamwork, encourage understanding, reduce social isolation, and improve communication skills. The impact is life-changing and our provision, based at our new Youth Hub in Mansfield Woodhouse, provides:

  • skills based/practical learning, in small groups of approximately 10 learners,
  • community and social action projects,
  • online functional skills qualifications with study time built into our personalised timetabling,
  • transition support – in and out of the programme,
  • environment that promotes emotional and sensory regulation with access to on site garden, sensory room, kitchen, gaming consoles and youth social area.
  • work experience and volunteering programme within our individualised career support,
  • life skills and independent living support,
  • wrap around one to one mentoring support,
  • opportunities to improve physical and mental health,
  • optional enrichment activities and social gaming available daily,
  • passionate staff who have dedicated their lives to supporting young people.

Achievement Unlocked is a part-time programme tailored to support learners with Anxiety, Autism, social exclusion, or barriers to mainstream education. Our sessions run Monday to Friday 9:30am–12:30pm with a second cohort between 1:30-4:30pm planned from April 2026.

Learners also benefit from optional access to free youth activities (pool, football, gaming etc) and our youth hub each afternoon. Short term 1:1 support is available whilst integrating into our group provision and English and Maths are qualifications are completed online with support onsite from a trained functional skills tutor and teaching staff.
