Action for ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Overview

Monday - Friday 10.30am - 3pm - Helpline

Action for M.E. is the only charity in the UK supporting people with M.E. of all ages.

Our mission is empowering people with M.E. to fulfil their potential and secure the care and support they need, while working towards a greater understanding of the illness and ultimately a cure.

ME is a recognised medical condition that affects thousands of adults, children and young people in this country every day. Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.) is a long-term (chronic), fluctuating, neurological condition that causes symptoms affecting many body systems, more commonly the nervous and immune systems. It causes a wide range of symptoms, including intense tiredness, aches and pains, and can make it very difficult to concentrate or perform everyday tasks easily. Symptoms can come and go, and will vary from person to person.
