An exhibition celebrating the pioneers and torchbearers of Funk, Soul, R &B, Hip Hop, Dancehall, and Afrobeat(s). Captured over several years by London-based photographer Alexis Chabala, the work honours artists whose influence shaped global music and culture. Through powerful, intimate portraits, Chabala tells a visual story of rhythm, resistance, and resilience. The exhibition invites viewers to reflect on the enduring power of Black music and the cultural threads that continue to inspire new creative expression.
