Broxtowe Community Projects

Food and Nappy bank; free advice, support and signposting service for people experiencing financial crisis.

Overview

Families with children and individuals, elderly people, pregnant women and people with disabilities or life changing illnesses and many others who try to manage on their own until they can no longer cope. People come to BCP because they have no other choice - they can no longer afford to buy enough food to support their loved ones. BCP offers a maximum of 6 months help in the form of weekly foodbags, informed advice, signposting to free reliable advice services, basic skills development and personal support to enable them to make better informed decisions about how they are going to deal with their financial crisis. In 2025/26 BCP provided support to over 6,300 individuals, 500 community meals and over 100 Winter energy warm packs with huge thanks to our amazing volunteers.
