The Big Friendly Lunch Club
Join us every Friday at our Big Friendly Lunch Club—it's a social activity where anyone can take part in harvesting, prepping, and enjoying a delicious seasonal meal made with fresh picked produce from the garden.
This weekly drop-in session is for all ages and abilities—you don't have to be a volunteer to get involved and every activity is guided by our lovely Lunch Club crew. It's a great way to meet people in your community, spend time outdoors, and even get a bit of inspiration to taste or cook something new!
The sessions are every Friday from 10.30 AM with a suggested donation of £3 for adults and £1.00 for kids.
All meals are vegetarian, served with pudding. Please let us know about any dietary requirements and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Everything at the garden is a group effort, so we do ask that everyone pitches in to wash up their own dishes once they've finished their meal.

We're behind Cantrell Primary School and our entrance gate is next to house number 113 on Austin Street. By public transport, you can use the Brown No. 17 Bus to St Albans Road or the Tram to Bulwell Forest—then it's just a five minute walk from either stop.
