Overview

We are open Friday to Sunday 11am - 3pm during exhibition open times

Coreset is an arts organisation working in Newark, Nottinghamshire.


We believe art has the power to bring us together, to imagine new futures and generate change. We embrace creative expression, difference and diversity.


As artists we run workshops and teach in community centres, museums, schools, colleges and Universities.


We specifically run workshops for families that are home schooling.

We present exhibitions, host workshops and creative activities. You can find out what's on here - www.coreset.org. We are open Friday to Sunday 11am - 3pm during exhibition open times. We warmly welcome neurodivergence, people with disabilities and anyone experiencing social anxiety. Our team has extensive experience of collaborating with young people and adults with a range of issues.

Accessibility: access to Coreset is step-free. We have an accessible and gender neutral toilet. It does not have a hoist. We have disabled parking onsite. Coreset is a 5-minute walk from Newark Northgate Train Station, 10-minute walk from Newark Castle Train Station and the Bus Station. We encourage visitors to walk, cycle, or use public transport where possible. There are a limited number of parking spaces onsite with nearby public car parks. You can visit our exhibitions for free. Attend creative taster workshops/sessions for £5.00 which provides a workshop, a session leader, refreshments and materials. For home schooling sessions the sessions are for 13+ young people and cost £10.00.
