Dial a Trip - Community Car Scheme - Covering Tuxford & surrounding villages

Overview

The Office is Open Monday to Friday 9.30 to 12.30

This local scheme covers Tuxford and the surrounding villages, not just in Bassetlaw but also some in Newark & Sherwood Districts. It helps those who are unable to access public transport and don't have any other alternative. We provide transport for medical appointments, social interests and essential shopping. We are a social car scheme operating with volunteer drivers using their own vehicles. To join you need to register and pay a registration fee every January , there is a mileage fee to pay for each journey. Parents or carers who would normally need to accompany a person go free.

Times and availability

The office is open every morning Monday to Friday. Trips are normally Monday to Friday all day. We do not usually work on the weekends and bank holidays.

Contact

This service is now operated completely by volunteers including the administration and runs from a private address.
