Disability Support is a registered charity and has been set up to meet the needs of Nottingham's disabled people, carers and older people, in a fast, flexible and local way. We currently support nearly six thousand people a year.
Disability Support prides itself on being able to continue to make a difference to disabled people, older people and carers residing in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
We promote positive change in a non-political and non-campaigning way. As an organisation, we have a strong sense of commitment to empowering people to make their own choices and make positive decisions about independent living opportunities.
The client groups we support are:
Individuals aged 16 and over with a physical, and/or sensory impairment
People with mental ill health
People with a learning disability
Carers
Parents of disabled children
People with long-term health conditions
Older people
Professionals
Other service providers
