Equation - domestic abuse charity in Nottinghamshire
Equation's goal is for everyone to have equal, healthy relationships.
We work to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence by providing support, raising awareness, and education. We run educational programmes in schools for students and teachers, training for professionals and behaviour change programmes, as well as raise awareness of where to get help and support. We also run a helpline and services for men experiencing abuse, living in Nottinghamshire.
Support for men - we provide the only accredited helpline and support to men experiencing abuse living in Nottinghamshire.
Your Choice Programme - We also help anyone who is worried about their own behaviour towards their partner, ex-partner or someone in their family. We offer therapeutic intervention sessions for anyone that wants support to have healthier relationships.
Education and training - We deliver educational programmes in schools to both young people and teachers and train professionals to spot and respond to domestic abuse, providing free safety and signposting information resources in Nottinghamshire.
We also sell activity booklets for children and young people that support safety, wellbeing, healthy relationships and RSE education, and awareness-raising.
