Find out why objects made from wood, including oak, rarely survive through the centuries and learn how archaeologists uncover clues about the past from the items they find beneath our feet.
This special Family Saturday EXTRA! combines all the hands-on fun of our regular Family Saturdays with additional archaeology-themed activities designed to spark curiosity and imagination.

- Fun, playful archaeological digs where young explorers can uncover hidden treasures
- Hands-on activities exploring how archaeologists investigate the past
