Overview
If you enjoy the outdoors, want to learn new skills, meet new people and be part of our team, why not get involved with your local forest?
Forestry England offer a wealth of volunteer opportunities for people wanting to regain their confidence and learn practical conservation skills in a safe and friendly environment. Community Rangers work alongside groups and individuals
to carry out vital environmental work as well as training people on the job as they go as part of the Shadow Ranger scheme.
We are able to work with organised groups and integrate individuals into pre-existing teams on short and long-term projects. Tasks are chosen and paced to the needs of the group, with all tools and training provided.
