Freeing Minds Talking Therapy is a counselling project providing FREE, short-term talking therapy sessions to anyone aged 18 plus in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
If you are struggling with your emotional wellbeing due to the impact of Covid-19, isolation, depression, anxiety, work stress, family or relationship issues, the impact of trauma, bereavement, parenting or maternal mental health difficulties or any other issues that are negatively affecting your wellbeing you are not alone and Freeing Minds are here to support you.
We provide a safe, confidential, compassionate, and completely non-judgmental space for clients to offload, explore the issues they are struggling with, enabling them to make positive life changes, experience healing and personal growth and discover new coping strategies. We aim to make our counselling sessions as accessible as possible so we deliver sessions via Zoom, WhatsApp or on the phone, with daytime and evening sessions available.
So many people are currently struggling with their mental health; feeling lost, scared, confused, stressed, depressed and anxious. We want to say it's okay not to feel okay and it's okay to ask for help, it's not a sign of weakness it's an incredibly courageous step to take. If you, someone you know or someone you support feel ready to take that first step we are open for referrals.
