Overview

Careers Advice for young people.
If you are aged 16 to 18, live in Nottingham City and are not in education, employment or training we can help you. Our qualified and professional Careers Advisers, based at our Careers Centre on Maid Marian Way will work with you in the following ways:

Help you find out about the support and opportunities available to you
Give you up-to-date information about jobs, education and training
Listen to your ideas and help you put your plans into action
Help you with your job search or finding an apprenticeship
Support you in putting together a great CV and preparing for interviews

If you're still at school we offer support to some prioritized school leavers who are Nottingham City residents. Please speak to your school to see if you are eligible for this support or not.
If you are a Nottingham City resident with an EHC Plan we can provide support until you are 25.
Nottingham Works is part-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and Youth Employment Initiative (YEI) to support people age 16-29 to develop their skills to find work.
