My name's Kate Fountain, I'm happily married to my husband John and we have 2 beautiful children together. I have worked with children for 23 years in nurseries and now offer care to children in a home from home environment. I love working with children and I'm very passionate about children learning through exploring and playing indoors and outdoors. I enjoy to see children developing their independence, whether it be learning a new skill or just simply helping to prepare their lunch or tea.
I have obtained all the relevant qualifications, including passing my childcare qualification at Chesterfield College in June 2003. I'm very enthusiastic to carry on updating my knowledge by going on several training courses a year through my childminding agency, @homechildcare. I get inspections every 3 years by my agency and reviews in between these to ensure my service is still running to a high standard, and in return I receive guidance and training opportunities all year round.
I have a good-sized garden, but also go on regular outings to local parks and forests, libraries and play groups and centres.
