Majestic Theatre Retford

The Majestic Theatre is Retford’s historic, volunteer-led community theatre, presenting a varied programme of live music, drama, comedy, dance, family entertainment, films and locally produced shows. We welcome audiences of all ages and provide an affordable, accessible cultural venue for residents of Retford and the wider Nottinghamshire community.

We also support local theatre companies, schools, dance groups, performers and community organisations by providing a professional venue in which to rehearse, perform and bring people together. Our volunteering opportunities enable local people to develop skills, build confidence, make social connections and play an active role in the theatre’s future.
