I am a mother and have been a childminder since February 2007. I provide a happy and safe place for children, where they can learn, grow and have fun. a place where parents know that they can safely leave their children and know that their childs well being is paramount.

I offer a 2 hour free session to all parents in order for you and your child/children to feel happy and comfortable with the care that I provide. I have a folder full of policies avaliable with excellent references and parent questionnaires available for viewing. We live in a multiracial society and I treat all children and their families as individuals.

I value and respect different religions, cultures and languages. I will not stereotype people according to their race or gender. I will not to make distinctions between male and female roles and give all the children in my care the chance to express their individual personalities through various forms of play. I understand that by treating children equally you sometimes have to treat them differently i.e. children with disabilities will need extra help. I will make sure I adhere to any dietary or religious needs.

I realise that parents are the best source or information regarding their child and I access that source frequently. Families from all different backgrounds are welcome in my home and I try to ensure that they feel comfortable and accepted.
