Mansfield Town Film Festival

Mansfield Town Film Festival (MTFF) runs an annual weekend-long short film festival in Mansfield, and a year-round educational screening programme. We offer a range of volunteer roles

MTFF prioritises reaching audiences who are traditionally underrepresented within the UK cultural sector, particularly working-class communities, young people, disabled and neurodivergent audiences, and LGBTQIA+ audiences.  We also prioritise the work of filmmakers from, and films about, these communities, championing working-class and underrepresented voices in film.

We provide volunteering opportunities year-round across a wide range of roles, including reviewing short films (online) that have been submitted by filmmakers, supporting at educational screening events and at the annual festival.

MTFF is a registered charity - number 1218992.

Times and availability

Our Annual Festival is in Mansfield over a long weekend in the Autumn.

Online reviewing of short films is done from November until June each year - volunteers can do this whenever is convenient for them.

Educational screening events are year-round, in Mansfield and in 2027, we expect to expand them across Nottinghamshire
