Mencap Direct provides information and advice for people with a learning disability, their families and carers. Mencap Direct also provides information and advice to anyone wanting to know about learning disability issues and services.
They provide information about community care, benefits, education, jobs, housing, holidays, family and personal relationships. Mencap Direct can also provide advice and information about individual budgets and self-directed support in relation to learning disability issues.
Mencap Direct also has community-based advisers who can provide further advice and information to support people with a learning disability, parents and carers. They can do this by phone, email, post, a direct visit or a combination of these.
