Nottingham Hoods Wheelchair Basketball is the first wheelchair basketball club to be held in the City for many years.
Our current aim is to offer an opportunity to both those with disabilities, and able-bodied people, to play a wheelchair sport. It's a club which allows families and friends to learn new skills and have some social time every week. It's all fun every week! All ages and abilities are welcome.
In the long term, once a player base has been successfully established, we hope to become a team that can compete in the national league in the UK. The beauty is that the club can become anything we want it to be. There is scope for us to run both competitive and social sessions once committed interest has been generated.
