Overview
Every Saturday
M8s Youth Club is for children from 5 to 18 years old with a range of learning disabilities. We are based on Clarence Street, Sneinton. Nottingham. Our days are filled with fun, with some in-house activity days and a variety of days out in the community. The young people that attend can access arts and crafts, singing, music, dancing, cooking, computers, X-Box and Wii, pool and outdoor fun including football, skittles and cricket. We go on a range of trips including Rushcliffe Country Park, Lost City, Stonebridge City Farm amongst many others.
We also focus on developing independence skills, self-confidence and self-esteem. Our ethos encourages respect for each other and our environment, and promotes socialisation skills within the group.
M8s Youth Club is on every Saturday of each month. The AM session runs from 9am to 1pm, PM Sessions from 1.45pm - 5.45pm, All Day Sessions 9am to 5.45pm

Contact
Nottingham Mencap was originally founded in the 1950s by a group of local Nottinghamshire parents to support their children with disabilities and autism.
Through hard work and dedication from everyone involved with the organisation, and successful fundraising, Nottingham Mencap have been able to create a new space the people of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire can be proud of. The space includes a gym, health and beauty room, sensory room, multimedia suite, café and large function rooms for sessions such as dance, drama, creative writing, art and independent living skills.
If you visit us by car there is on street parking using the Ringo app, if you are travelling by bus you can catch the 25, 26 and 27 which drops you very near to our building.
Costs
Our services are charged for services, so you will need funding to attend. You may fund the activities through your own personal finances, or from financial support you receive from health and social care. People pay for services through personal budgets, direct payments, or health funding, depending on their needs. Please contact us to discuss costs.
