RGA- Restricted Growth Association

Overview

The Restricted Growth Association is a registered charity (No 261647) with a membership of around 3000 individuals, which is comprised of full members, their families and friends, and other interested parties, mainly comprising of professionals with an interest in the RGA.

Restricted growth or dwarfism is commonly described as having a final adult height of 4’10" or less due to a medical condition

The Association provides a network to families and adults throughout the UK who have a rare genetic condition, enabling them to meet and share with those who have first-hand experience of the same or similar conditions.

Local Offer

The Association provides information and support to improve the quality of life for persons of restricted growth and their families. This includes information on benefits, medical information and information specifically for parents.

Family Membership is open to any families which have a child/children (aged under 18 years) with restricted growth as a result of a medical disorder. Parents who have restricted growth are considered to be Full Members as part of their Family Membership, providing that at least one of their children has a restricted growth condition and lives at the same address.
