Overview
We are a 54 occupancy Day Nursery operating from the Cotgrave Futures Building in Cotgrave. We have three base rooms all at ground level: Baby Room (children aged under 2 years), Toddler Room (2-4 years) and Pre-School children (aged 3-5 years)
As a setting we pride ourselves in having all our staff trained to a high standard on our training programme.
Our outside provision is split into 3 areas; a large field area, full of nature and places to explore. A hard area for using bikes and trikes and a climbing area.
We also have a large café area where we have all our meals 7 also hold extra-curricular activities (Go Bake) & French. We also have golf and football and take the children to swimming lessons.
We have a former Ofsted inspector based at our setting who is our Care & Education Standards Co-ordinator.
We are a fully inclusive practice who can offer all in the setting support , with one to one support offered for any additional needs.

We are a 54 occupancy Day Nursery operating from the Cotgrave Futures Building in Cotgrave. We have three base rooms all at ground level: Baby Room (children aged under 2 years), Toddler Room (2-4 years) and Pre-School children (aged 3-5 years)
We share information about children’s progress with parents/carers through daily verbal exchanges and termly parent evenings. The key person is the main point of contact and we also have a trained Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator who is available for advice and support regarding any concerns parents/carers or staff may have regarding children’s development.
If a child is identified to have an additional need, we work closely with the Local Authority support teams to ensure that an appropriate level of care and support is provided. We liaise with any other professionals working with the child to ensure that appropriate targets are set, and regularly reviewed, in order to best support the child’s learning and development.
We work closely with the local Children’s Centre who can offer support and training sessions relating to general parenting strategies along with more specialist support such as speech and language therapy.
All staff at nursery have as a minimum, attended training of Makaton signs and symbols and this form of communication is incorporated into daily routines as much as possible.
