Statutory SEND Service (Special Educational Needs and Disability)

The Statutory Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Service was created in September 2016 in response to the SEND reforms from the Children and Families Act 2014. The service brings together colleagues from education and social care to support children and young people with disabilities aged 0 to 25 years.

The service includes the following areas:

• Assessment, Plan and Review Teams for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP)
• Specialist Support Service
• Short Breaks Assessment and Review Team
• Children's Occupational Therapy Team
