Overview
Our home is warm, calm, and full of fun. We have plenty of toys for both boys and girls and a spacious and secure garden equipped with a colourful and well stocked playhouse.
Children will have access to various learning and play experiences both adult and child led such as messy/sensory play, arts and crafts, play kitchen, dolls house, dinosaurs, Duplo, train tracks, to name just a few! We take small trips out and about in the local area to the local library and woodlands. Children learn so much from being outdoors, we love collecting leaves, feeding the birds, finding treasures, splashing in puddles, and looking for insects.
I believe that children should have access to books and share stories with their grown-ups each and every day as it underpins healthy cognitive development, particularly language acquisition in younger children. I support and encourage children to think about the stories we have read to stretch their imagination during play. I am also trained to teach children phonics through the Read, Write, Inc scheme which is currently used by several local schools.
I am open Mon-Fri 8:00-17:30 – my rate is £5.00 per hour. Thankyou for taking the time to read my information, if you have any questions please get in touch and I will be happy to provide further details.

Dietary needs
The children attending my setting are required to have their own lunch and snacks from home meaning that parents are in control of what their children are eating day to day. Where we take part in sensory play involving food or try new or special food as part of our learning, I will always ensure that special dietary requirements or allergies are taken into consideration.
Special needs (children)
Having previously worked in a mainstream school, I have experience of supporting many children's education and development.
