Overview
The Lyneal Trust is a registered charity that provides holidays and canal boat trips for people with disabilities with their families, friends or in groups from its base at Lyneal Wharf.
The Llangollen Canal weaves backwards and forwards across the Shropshire and Cheshire borders and into Clwyd, and on its way passes through some of the finest canalside country. Lyneal Wharf lies on the banks of the Llangollen Canal, three miles from Ellesmere in the heart of the Meres district of North Shropshire.
The Lyneal Trust is a charity based at Lyneal Wharf which owns and maintains two canal boats and four holiday cottages which are specially designed and built for people with disabilities. They are all available for hire at competitive rates.
