The Studio is unique new concept in dementia care. Here, people with dementia can try out new skills or practise familiar leisure activities with support. With provision for music making and singing, exercise and dance, poetry and all forms of visual and plastic arts, The Studio is a place for people to ‘connect and create’.
Our team of ArtsCare Assistants is supported by professional artists who devise and lead a varied programme of individual and group-based creative pursuits tailored to participants’ abilities and interests. No previous artistic experience is required; the principle is that human beings are all creative. Everyone is risk assessed and we work in a Covid-protected setting.

Day care is currently available on Mondays (1-4) and Tuesdays (10-1), in 3-hour sessions (cost £40). when carers can take a break or join in if they wish. We are registered as a day care provider with Notts County Council. If cost is a barrier we can draw on a charity fund to subsidise what gust can afford to pay. Times and availability
We offer introductory 'getting to know each other' sessions at no cost. Morning sessions are 3 hours: 10am-1pm Afternoon sessions are 3 hours: 1pm-4pm
