Specialist alternative provision for children and young people from KS2 to KS5, providing personalised education, therapeutic support and pathways to recognised qualifications in a safe, nurturing environment.
TIA Education is a specialist Alternative Provision supporting children and young people from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 5 who are unable to access or thrive within mainstream education. We work with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism, ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, anxiety, emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), and other barriers to learning.
Our calm, nurturing environment provides small-group and individualised learning programmes tailored to each young person's educational, social and emotional needs. We focus on building positive relationships, improving confidence, increasing engagement with learning and helping every learner achieve their potential.
Our personalised curriculum includes English, Mathematics, personal development, employability skills, vocational learning and life skills. We are an accredited King's Trust Delivery Partner, enabling learners to develop recognised personal development and employability skills. Where appropriate, we also prepare learners for GCSE and Functional Skills qualifications through approved examination partners.
Alongside academic progress, we place a strong emphasis on emotional wellbeing, resilience, independence and preparing young people for adulthood. Our wellbeing dog, Coco, plays an important role in supporting learners to feel safe, develop confidence and engage positively in education.
We work closely with local authorities, schools, parents and carers to provide flexible, high-quality educational provision that places each young person at the centre of everything we do.

Cost is based on assessment of individual needs.
Referral
Referrals to TIA Education are made through schools, local authorities or other commissioning organisations. Each referral is carefully reviewed to ensure we can meet the young person's individual needs and provide the most appropriate support. We work closely with the referring professionals, parents/carers and the young person to plan a successful placement and transition into our provision.
