Overview

The Macmillan Information and Support Service at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust provides information and support to anyone affected by cancer. We offer a free confidential service to anyone living with cancer, their relatives, friends, carers and professionals.

We can help with:

  • Support with Benefits and Finances, including pensions and insurance
  • Support to apply for Grants
  • Support with Housing difficulties
  • Emotional support, as often as you need, with no appointment required
  • Information and Support with all aspects of living with cancer
  • Support to access local services, this could be a support group, counselling, exercise group etc
  • Support for Carers including Carers Holistic Needs Assessments
  • HOPE Course (A HOPE Course is a moving on course for cancer patients)

The Macmillan Information and Support Service is a drop-in service, there is no need to book an appointment, just pop into our Macmillan Information and Support Centres. We have Centres at Nottingham City Hospital, close to South Entrance and in the main entrance at Queen's Medical Centre.

We can also provide information and support over the telephone, via email or via our text messaging service.

No referrals are required. Simply visit a Centre, call, text or email the Service to access information and support.
