Overview
We provide a variety of Short Breaks Services in Nottingham City and County. Everything we do is about valuing and supporting people with a learning disability, and their families and carers. The 'Sitting Service' is available for clients over the age of 5 years and enables parents and carers to have some 'time out' whilst the client is fully supported in their usual home based activities an evening or bedtime routine. The 'Befriending Service' is an extension of the 'sitting' and it enables clients aged over 5 years to access social and leisure activities in the community, for example children may require support to enable them to go swimming, whilst adults may enjoy time shopping or maybe a visit to a local public house.
