Job Description
Hourly rate: 12.71
Personal Assistant required part time for 6 hours per week over either 1 day for 6 hours or 2 days for 3 hours per day so needs to be flexible.
Ideally lives close to Edwinstowe, Notts
- Ideal age range for this role would be between the age of 30 to 40 years old
- Must be a non-smoker
- The person needs someone who is outgoing, able to make conversation and able to encourage the person to do the activities that are planned for each day.
- PA needs to be patient, caring and have a good sense of humour
- PA needs to be organised and reliable.
- Have good communication skills.
- Ideally be able to drive.
About the person.
The person is 36 years old. The person is a happy friendly person with a good sense of humour. The person has a very supportive family. The person lives at home with parents who help support the person due to an accident which happened a few years ago, in which the person sustained a brain injury.
About the Job
This is a great opportunity to do something very different to most other jobs and to make a positive/meaningful impact on the person’s life. Some help with washing, may be required occasionally. Provide social support and do things like helping to keep the person’s room tidy, support the person when the person is exercising and take the person to appointments or going out for a coffee or lunch. This is a friend type role which is much more than simply care work and includes the typical social events a person of the person age would like to do such as going out to meet the person friends, watching TV, playing games etc
Hourly rate: £12.71 (employed position)
