In Nottingham City, Summer Holidays run from Monday 27th July until Tuesday 1st September. The school term starts on Wednesday 2nd September.

Bookings open on Monday 29th June 2026, 7:30am. Feel free to browse and register your interest. HAF Holiday Activities are free for children who receive Benefit Related Free School Meals. Each child can book up to 12 sessions this summer. There are also some paid activities for children who are not eligible. We look forward to welcoming your child.

Get creative and have fun with our free craft, STEM, and LEGO sessions running throughout the holidays! We’re also thrilled to welcome back crowd favourite Geoffrey Jumper, along with renowned illustrator Kev Sutherland, who returns with his ever-popular comic masterclass and a wonderful new theatre show called Astro Norma and the Cosmic Piano!
At our Summer Holiday activities, you can learn to bake Bread, Fruity Cupcakes, Scones and Oaty Bakes.

Hoopla! 2026 – mini-festivals for ages 0-4
For a fifth year, City Arts are bringing a mini-festival for 0-4 year olds to four Nottingham areas. Hoopla! is a fun, free, outdoor mini-festival. Join us in St Ann’s, Hyson Green, Aspley and Bulwell for a day of puppetry, art, theatre, music, play, and exploration.
