Job Description
Hourly rate: £18-20
We are looking for a kind, reliable and experienced female carer/personal assistant to provide support for a lady with Parkinson’s and mobility difficulties in her own home in East Leake.
The aim is to provide some additional help during the day so that she can remain as comfortable, safe and independent as possible in her own home.
Support would include:
• Help with mobility and getting around safely • General day-to-day personal care and support • Preparing meals and food • Making drinks and ensuring she has what she needs • Light household tasks associated with her care • Companionship and reassurance
Approximate hours:
Morning: 8.30am–11.00am Afternoon/evening: 2.00pm–7.00/7.30pm
Support is required 7 days a week, but we are very happy to hear from people who can cover some of these days or shifts. We don't necessarily expect one person to cover everything.
Previous care experience would be very helpful, particularly experience supporting someone with Parkinson’s & mobility difficulties.
