Job Description
A reliable and compassionate Personal Assistant is required to support an individual living with dementia in their own home.
Duties include:
- Assistance with washing and dressing
- Meal preparation
- Medication support and prompts
- Encouragement with eating and drinking
- Light household tasks and tidying
- Preparing sandwiches for lunch
- Support with drinks and evening meal preparation
Hours:
- Morning call: 45 minutes
- Tea-time call: 30 minutes
- Total: 8.75 hours per week
About the role:
The individual experiences fluctuating capacity and requires a patient, understanding, and supportive approach. A dog is present in the property, who may occasionally try to nibble when someone arrives.
