Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and patient PA to support an individual living at home with vascular dementia and complex health needs.
Support Schedule
- Morning Call – 30 minutes (late morning preferred)
- Lunch Call – 45 minutes
- Tea-Time Call – 30 minutes
- Bedtime Call – 30 minutes
Additional Support
- 30 minutes domestic cleaning per week
- 1 hour social support per week, including the option to access the local community using the person's wheelchair with support
About the Person
The individual experiences periods of loneliness and social isolation and would benefit greatly from a PA who is willing to build a positive, healthy professional relationship.
- Falls Risk
- Wears a falls detector
- Can forget to use their walker
- Experiences episodes of dizziness
- Medication is required every four hours
- Full support with all medication administration is required
Calls should be scheduled approximately four hours apart to align with medication needs
A later morning call is preferred, as the person is generally more alert and receptive to support later in the morning
