Job Description
Hourly rate: £18.91
One 5 hour call per week, on Thursday afternoons from 1pm.
PA will pick up client from the Day Service morning session and support her to access the community, attend outings and participate in activities that reflect her interests.
Risks- Client experiences memory problems, confusion, and difficulties with decision-making.
Other information-
Client communicates verbally and enjoys talking with others. She responds best to calm, friendly, face-to-face communication, using simple language and clear explanations. Due to her dementia, she may become confused about time, place, or recent events, particularly later in the day when she experiences increased confusion ("sundowning"). She benefits from reassurance, patience, gentle prompting, and allowing extra time to process information and make decisions.
